The Benefits of Using Skid Steer Attachments
Skid steer loaders are versatile and powerful machines widely used in construction, landscaping, agriculture, and other industries. What makes these machines even more valuable are the various attachments that can be added to them, expanding their capabilities and efficiency. In this article, we will delve into the world of skid steer attachments offered by M7 Equipment and explore how they can enhance productivity and save valuable time and resources.
Versatility and Efficiency
One of the primary advantages of attachments is their versatility. With the ability to switch between attachments quickly, a single skid steer loader can perform multiple tasks on the job site, eliminating the need for multiple machines. This versatility not only saves space but also increases efficiency.
Time and Cost Savings
By using the right skid steer attachment for each task, projects can be completed more efficiently, leading to significant time savings. Additionally, the cost of investing in multiple attachments is often more economical than purchasing separate specialized machinery.
Increased Productivity
Attachments enable operators to complete tasks with precision and accuracy, leading to enhanced productivity. Whether it's grading, digging, or material handling, the attachments are designed to optimize performance, making the work easier and faster.

Frequently Asked Questions
Disc and drum mulchers are high-demand attachments. Our disc mulchers run in the 20 to 44 GPM range depending on the model and motor, and a case drain is generally required. Check your machine’s high-flow rating before choosing a mulcher; an underpowered machine will stall the rotor.
Disc mulchers cut fast and handle larger trees; they are ideal for clearing and right-of-way work. Drum mulchers leave a finer mulch and work closer to the ground, which suits land maintenance and finish work. Tell us your typical material size and we will recommend one.
Disc mulchers on a high-flow skid steer will fell and process trees in the 6 to 8 inch range and larger with technique. Drum mulchers handle smaller material continuously. Machine flow, weight and operator technique matter as much as the attachment.
Inspect teeth and holders before each shift, rotate or replace worn teeth as a set to keep the rotor balanced, and grease the bearings at the interval in the manual. Keep the deck clear of wrapped debris. Replacement teeth are available from M7.
Most skid steer and compact track loader attachments use the universal quick-attach plate, so they fit Bobcat, Kubota, CAT, John Deere, Case and similar carriers. Mini skid steer and excavator attachments are mount-specific. Send us your machine make and model and we will confirm fitment and hydraulic requirements before you order.
M7 ships nationwide from Lenoir, NC. Parts and small attachments go by ground; larger attachments and equipment ship by LTL freight, usually within a few business days of order confirmation, with transit time depending on your location. We confirm the shipping method and estimate with you before the order is finalized.
